Denise Tautfest Electrolysis

Electrolysis was first used in 1875 to remove ingrowing eyelashes. The use of Electrolysis expanded over time to all areas of the body except inside the nose and ear cannel. In the last 135 years there have been many improvements to the equipment and new methods have been developed. The long history of permanent hair removal without serious - side effects provides an outstanding recommendation for the practice of Electrolysis.

A. Denise Tautfest, CPE Electrology has been my passion since 1990. I graduated from The Rocky Mountain College of Electrology, where I was trained in the Blend Modality and Thermolysis. To complement my training and to compensate for Colorado's lack of licensure for electrologists, I voluntarily took the CPE exam. This is the exam used by most states to license electrologists. Being a Certified Professional Electrologist requires continuing education to keep my credentials, which assures the client I am current with the latest information and techniques for the practice of electrology. I am an active member of the American Electrology Association and the Colorado Association of Electrologists.
